Frequently Asked Questions
BAKING KITS
Our baking kits cater to different skill levels:
- Easy Baking Level: Madeleine, Cannelé kits, Crêpes, Fondant - Perfect for beginners, and a fun activity for kids! If you can mix a batter, you can make these. My 5-year-old loves piping the Madeleine batter!
- Medium Baking Level: Chouquette – Perfect for the intermediate bakers who want to try an easy choux recipe.
- Advanced Baking Level: Macaron kits - These require a bit more precision. If you're comfortable making meringues for pavlovas, you have the right skills to get that perfect macaron shell.
Our baking kits are crafted to remain fresh for up to one year. Each kit contains all the pre-measured dry ingredients; you simply add the fresh elements when you're ready to begin your baking experience.
Yes, each of our recipes is designed to offer delicious results whether enjoyed immediately or prepared ahead of time. Please follow these simple storage recommendations to maintain their exquisite quality:
- Cannelés: These can be stored for several days in an airtight container at room temperature or in
the refrigerator. To restore their crisp exterior, simply reheat them in a preheated 200°C oven for
10 minutes. For longer storage, they freeze beautifully in an airtight container. Thaw at room
temperature and reheat as directed. - Madeleines: We recommend eating these delicate cakes fresh from the oven, when they are at
their most delightful. - Macarons: Our macarons will remain fresh for up to five days when refrigerated in a sealed
container. For longer storage, they can be frozen and thawed in the refrigerator for two hours or
at room temperature for 10 minutes. For best results, avoid overly humid or dry environments and
keep them in their airtight container.
